You could use avocado oil in a hot oil treatment. Pour 3–5 tablespoons into a small glass container, and place the container in a larger container that contains boiling water. Make sure the temperature of the oil gets warm. Use the warm oil to gently massage into the scalp. You can leave it overnight and clean your hair with shampoo in the morning. This may help to reduce dandruff and dry scalp.

Treating Dry and Inflamed Skin
