Ramadan 15: The wisdom of Breaking Your Fast in Two Stages – An Easy and Healthy Yogurt and Fruits Recipe

Allah says: “And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.” (Al Nahl : 5)

Meat, legumes, eggs and dairy products are rich in proteins. So make sure to include them in your meal during the holy month of Ramadan. Proteins are essential for regenerating the cells of the body and provide a feeling of fullness, thus reducing the desire to eat large amounts of sweets.

God has permitted us to eat meat for its benefits. Of course, it would be better if the animal has eaten healthy food, free of hormones and other harmful substances.

And the Almighty said: “And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.” (believers: 21)

It is preferable to eat Iftar in two stages, it is recommended to start eating with dates and water and then eat soup.

Following the example of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who used to break his fast first, then take a break to pray, where he used to delay his meal until after the Maghrib prayer. It is very wise to break your fast with a small amount of food and then take a break from food for a while. It is simply a stimulant for the stomach and the intestines. At the same time, it removes the excessive desire for food and gluttony.
